The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has released the NEET UG 2026 Round 2 seat allotment result. Candidates who participated in the second round of counselling can check their allotted seats through the official MCC website.
The Round 2 counselling covers 15% All India Quota (AIQ) seats, along with 100% seats in deemed universities, central universities, AFMC, AIIMS and JIPMER Puducherry and Karaikal. The registration and fee payment process was conducted from September 3 to 8, while candidates completed choice filling by September 9. Seat processing took place on September 9 and 10, followed by the allotment result on September 11.
Reporting From September 12
Candidates who have been allotted seats in Round 2 will have to report to their respective colleges between September 12 and September 18 to complete the admission process and document verification. Participating institutions will subsequently verify the details of students who have joined, with the verification scheduled for September 19.
The MCC has also published information on newly added, clear and virtual vacancies for MBBS, BDS and BSc Nursing courses. Candidates are advised to carefully check their allotment details and complete all admission formalities within the prescribed deadline.
The undergraduate academic session is scheduled to begin from September 15, 2026. Candidates who have received a seat should therefore follow the reporting instructions issued by their allotted institution and keep the required documents ready for admission.
