Dr B R Ambedkar University Delhi (AUD) will conduct a special walk-in admission drive in September 2026 to fill vacant seats in selected undergraduate (UG) and postgraduate (PG) programmes. The university announced the schedule on August 25.
The special admission drive will be conducted over three days. On September 1, admissions will be open for SC and ST candidates across UG and PG programmes. On September 2, the university will conduct admissions for PG programmes for candidates from all categories, followed by UG admissions on September 3.
Students who did not appear for CUET can also participate in the special drive, provided they meet the eligibility requirements. However, candidates who appeared for CUET 2026 will receive preference during the merit and admission process.
For non-CUET applicants, merit will be determined based on marks or grades obtained in their last qualifying examination. For UG admissions, Class 12 marks will be considered, while PG applicants will be assessed based on their undergraduate degree marks or grades.
Candidates who participated in earlier admission rounds but did not complete admission will receive first priority, subject to eligibility and availability of seats. Such candidates will still need to participate in the special drive and complete the required fee payment within the specified timeline.
Applicants must register and submit their applications between 9 am and 1 pm on the respective admission day and must be physically present on the university campus. The merit list will be announced by 4:30 pm on the same day, after which selected candidates will have to complete fee payment and other admission formalities immediately.
Candidates have been advised to carry self-attested copies of required documents, including CUET scorecards, photographs, identity and address proof, academic certificates and marksheets, along with applicable reservation certificates. Applications with incomplete documents or missing information will not be considered.
Students can check the programme-wise eligibility criteria, vacant seats and other admission-related details on the official university website before participating in the special admission drive.
