The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) has released the NEET PG 2026 admit cards for candidates appearing in the postgraduate medical entrance examination. The admit cards were made available on August 25, 2026, following a revised release schedule issued by NBEMS. Candidates who successfully registered for the examination can download their hall tickets through the official NBEMS website using their login credentials.
The NEET PG 2026 examination is scheduled for Sunday, August 30, 2026. The test will be conducted in a single shift from 9 am to 12:30 pm. Candidates are advised to reach their respective examination centres well before the reporting time mentioned on their admit cards.
The examination will be conducted in computer-based test (CBT) mode across more than 1,300 examination centres in approximately 340 cities throughout the country. The admit card is a mandatory document, and candidates must carry it to the examination centre along with the other documents specified in the exam instructions.
After downloading the hall ticket, candidates should carefully verify important information, including their name, photograph, signature, examination date, reporting time, test-centre address and other instructions. Any discrepancy should be brought to the notice of NBEMS through its official communication channels at the earliest.
Candidates should also ensure that they understand the instructions printed on the admit card and follow all examination-day guidelines.
With the examination approaching, NBEMS has urged candidates to rely only on official sources for NEET PG-related information. The board recently warned aspirants against fake social-media posts and misleading claims about an alleged question-paper leak, clarifying that such claims are false.
NBEMS has advised candidates not to trust unverified messages circulating through platforms such as WhatsApp, Telegram and Instagram and to check official notifications before taking any action.
This year’s examination also incorporates changes to the exam structure. According to the latest information reported by The Indian Express, the number of questions has been reduced to 180, which candidates will have to answer within 210 minutes, or 3.5 hours. The revised structure is intended to provide candidates with more time per question.
As the exam date draws closer, candidates should focus on revision and preparation while regularly checking NBEMS notifications for any last-minute updates regarding the examination centre, timings or other instructions.
