Ladakh Students Get Month-Long CBSE Academic Support

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has launched a one-month expert teaching and academic support programme for Class 10 and Class 12 students across the Union Territory of Ladakh. The initiative is aimed at strengthening students’ preparation for the upcoming CBSE board examinations and improving learning outcomes in the region. 

Under the programme, a team of four CBSE officials from the Academic Unit in New Delhi, along with 30 teachers, has been deployed to provide specialised academic support to students and teachers. The programme covers key subjects including Science, Mathematics and Economics.

The visiting team will work across different areas of Ladakh, with experts and teachers being deputed to Kargil, Drass, Chiktan and Sankoo. Their role will include providing subject-focused guidance, strengthening classroom teaching and helping students prepare more effectively for their board examinations.

The initiative is particularly significant for students studying in geographically challenging areas, where access to specialised academic resources can be limited. Through direct interaction with CBSE experts and experienced teachers, students are expected to receive additional guidance and focused preparation support.

The Ladakh Education Department said the programme reflects its continued efforts to strengthen academic standards and provide quality educational support to students appearing for the forthcoming CBSE examinations.
