The Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (UPPSC) has extended the registration deadline for the Combined State / Upper Subordinate Services (PCS) Preliminary Examination 2026 to August 3, 2026, providing additional time for aspirants to complete their applications.
The extension has been granted to assist candidates who were unable to submit their application forms earlier due to technical issues or other reasons.
Previously, the application process was scheduled to close on July 27, while the correction window was open until August 3. Under the revised schedule, candidates can now complete their online registration by visiting the official UPPSC website before the new deadline.
The commission has advised applicants to complete the registration process well before the closing date to avoid last-minute technical issues and ensure successful submission of their applications.
The UP PCS examination is one of Uttar Pradesh’s most competitive civil services recruitment exams, attracting thousands of candidates each year for various administrative positions across the state.
