Technical Glitch Disrupts SSC JHT Exam at Noida Centre

The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has rescheduled the Combined Hindi Translator (CHT) Examination 2026 Tier-I for candidates allotted to a particular examination centre in Noida after technical issues disrupted the exam on September 8. The affected candidates will now appear for the examination on September 13, 2026.

The examination at the Adarsh Examination Centre in Noida was scheduled to take place from 12 noon to 2 PM. However, candidates reportedly faced technical problems at the centre, preventing the computer-based examination from beginning as scheduled. Aspirants were made to wait while officials attempted to resolve the issue.

As the technical problem could not be resolved, candidates at the affected centre were asked to leave, with the examination subsequently rescheduled. The revised date applies only to candidates assigned to the affected Noida centre and does not mean that the CHT Tier-I examination has been postponed across all examination centres.

The SSC Northern Region has issued a rescheduling notice, and affected candidates have been advised to check the official SSC website for further instructions and their revised examination arrangements. Candidates should also keep track of information regarding fresh admit cards for the September 13 examination.

The SSC Combined Hindi Translator examination is conducted for recruitment to various translation-related posts in government departments and offices. Posts covered under the recruitment include Junior Hindi Translator/Junior Translator, Junior Translation Officer and Senior Hindi Translator/Senior Translator, among others.
