Scholarships That Empower Global Talent

The University of Strathclyde has announced a scholarship worth £7,000 per year for international students enrolling in undergraduate Physics programmes for the 2026–27 academic session, offering significant financial support to aspiring scientists from around the world.

According to the university, the scholarship will be awarded automatically to eligible international fee-paying students who enroll in either the first or second year of a full-time undergraduate Physics degree beginning in September 2026. No separate scholarship application is required.

The financial award will be applied annually toward tuition fees throughout the duration of the degree programme, subject to satisfactory academic progression and continued eligibility. Self-funded international students are eligible, while candidates receiving full sponsorship from governments or embassies are not covered under the scheme.

The University of Strathclyde, located in Glasgow, aims to attract talented students from across the globe through this initiative, strengthening its commitment to excellence in science education and research. The scholarship is expected to make studying Physics in the United Kingdom more accessible for international students seeking world-class academic opportunities.
