NTA Strengthens Operations Through Major Recruitment

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has launched a major recruitment drive to strengthen its organisational structure by inviting applications for four General Manager posts and 16 Young Professional positions. The move marks the first operational step towards implementing key reforms recommended by the High-Level Committee of Experts chaired by Prof. K. Radhakrishnan.

The four General Managers will oversee critical areas including exam operations, information security, vigilance, and test centre management, while the 16 Young Professionals will be recruited through the UPSC’s Pratibha Setu portal to support the agency’s modernisation efforts.

The restructuring follows concerns over the conduct of national entrance examinations and aims to improve transparency, efficiency, accountability, and the overall integrity of India’s examination system.
