IIT Kanpur Awards Degrees to 3,104 Students at 59th Convocation
The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kanpur celebrated its 59th Convocation Ceremony, conferring degrees on 3,104 students across undergraduate, postgraduate, PhD, and eMasters programmes.
The graduating batch included 1,325 postgraduate students, 1,247 undergraduate students, and 532 eMasters graduates.
🏅 Sagar KV (Computer Science & Engineering) received the President’s Gold Medal, while the Director’s Gold Medals were awarded to Aditya V (BS, Statistics & Data Science) and Ritwik Shankar (BT-MT, Aerospace Engineering).
The ceremony was attended by Dr. Pawan Goenka, Chairperson of IN-SPACe, IIT Kanpur alumnus, and Padma Shri awardee, as the chief guest.
