Over 2,000 Students Join DU’s ‘Science of Happiness’ Course in Two Years
The University of Delhi’s ‘Science of Happiness’ value-added course has attracted more than 2,000 student enrollments since its launch two years ago.
Currently offered by 17 colleges and one university department, the course aims to promote mental well-being, positive thinking, and personal growth among students.
During a recent review meeting, Vice-Chancellor Yogesh Singh praised the programme’s success, emphasizing that happiness is life’s greatest achievement and encouraging students to cultivate kindness and positivity.
According to the university, participating colleges have reported encouraging feedback, with many observing positive changes in students’ overall well-being and outlook.
