The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has extended the deadline for Class 12 students to access scanned copies of their answer sheets after several candidates reported technical glitches on the official portal during the application process. The board announced that students seeking photocopies of evaluated answer books will now get additional time to apply through the official CBSE portals. The decision comes after complaints from candidates regarding difficulties in logging in and completing payment due to server-related issues. CBSE had earlier opened the portal for students to request scanned copies of answer sheets as part of its post-result verification process. After obtaining the scanned copies, students can choose to apply for mark verification or re-evaluation if discrepancies are found in the evaluation. Officials stated that the extension aims to ensure that no student is disadvantaged because of technical disruptions and urged candidates to complete the process within the revised timeline through the official websites. The board also advised students to keep required credentials ready while accessing the portal to avoid delays. The move is expected to benefit thousands of Class 12 students seeking clarity on their marks and considering further review options after the declaration of board examination results.
