MSU Baroda Attracts Global Talent

The Maharaja Sayajirao University (MSU) of Baroda has welcomed 109 international students from 31 countries for the current academic year, reflecting its growing reputation as a preferred destination for higher education among overseas students.

According to the university’s Office of International Affairs, Bangladesh recorded the highest number of international admissions with 23 students, followed by Tanzania (11), Sri Lanka (9), Mozambique (7), and Botswana and Nepal with six students each. Students have also enrolled from countries including Ghana, Myanmar, Russia, the United States, South Africa, Brazil, Indonesia, Kenya, and several other nations.

Among the university’s faculties, the Faculty of Technology and Engineering emerged as the most popular choice, admitting 31 international students. It was followed by the Faculty of Science with 20 admissions and the Faculty of Performing Arts with 19 admissions, highlighting the diverse academic interests of international students.

The latest enrolment figures underscore MS University of Baroda’s expanding global presence and its continued efforts to attract students from around the world through quality education, academic diversity, and international collaborations.
