Indian Schools Earn Global Recognition

India has achieved a remarkable milestone in global education, with seven schools being shortlisted among the Top 10 finalists for the prestigious World’s Best School Prizes 2026. The shortlist was announced in London, making India the country with the highest number of shortlisted schools in a single year since the awards were launched four years ago.

Organised by T4 Education, the World’s Best School Prizes recognise schools that are transforming education through innovation, community engagement, environmental responsibility, and student well-being.

Among the Indian schools shortlisted, PCMC Chhatrapati Shahuji Maharaj English Medium School, Pune, and Army Goodwill School Wuzur, Anantnag (Jammu & Kashmir) have been recognised in the Innovation category.

In the Community Collaboration category, Healthy Planet TGA Early Years School, Noida, Inventure Academy, Bengaluru, and Seth MR Jaipuria School, Gomti Nagar, Lucknow have secured places in the global top 10.

For Environmental Action, EuroSchool Bannerghatta, Bengaluru, has been shortlisted, while Seth Anandram Jaipuria School, Lucknow, has earned recognition in the Supporting Healthy Lives category.

The winners will be selected by an international Judging Academy, with the top three finalists and category winners to be announced in November 2026. In addition, all 50 shortlisted schools worldwide will participate in a public vote for the Community Choice Award. The shortlisted schools and winners will also be invited to the World Schools Summit in London in January 2027.

The achievement highlights India’s growing global reputation for excellence in school education and innovative teaching practices, showcasing the country’s commitment to preparing students for the future.
