NECTDAM 2.0 Scholarship Exam 2027

In a major initiative to support aspiring civil servants from Northeast India, NEXT IAS has announced NECTDAM 2.0 – North East Civil Services Talent Discovery and Access Mission, offering scholarship support worth ₹5 crore to benefit more than 2,000 eligible and talented candidates from the region.

The initiative aims to make civil services preparation more accessible and help young people from the Northeast pursue their ambitions of joining the Indian Administrative Service (IAS) and other civil services. It seeks to identify promising candidates and provide them with opportunities to access structured preparation, academic guidance and mentorship.

Supporting the Next Generation of Civil Servants

NECTDAM 2.0 is part of the NEXT IAS corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiative. Through this programme, the organisation aims to reduce financial barriers that can prevent talented students from accessing quality civil services coaching.

The scholarship initiative is intended to encourage deserving candidates from the Northeastern states to prepare for competitive examinations and pursue careers in public administration. By expanding access to preparation resources, the programme seeks to nurture regional talent and strengthen representation from the Northeast in civil services.

Collaboration with Helping Hands

NEXT IAS has acknowledged the support of Robin Hibu, President of Helping Hands, for his contribution and commitment to empowering young people from Northeast India.

The collaboration reflects a broader effort to encourage civil services aspirants through awareness, guidance and scholarship opportunities. The initiative also highlights the importance of partnerships between educational institutions and organisations working for youth development.

An Opportunity for Northeast Aspirants

NECTDAM 2.0 is expected to provide an important opportunity for eligible candidates seeking to prepare for civil services examinations. Interested aspirants should consult the official NEXT IAS website for the latest information on eligibility, registration, examination dates, scholarship categories and application procedures.

The initiative aims to help talented young people from the Northeast overcome financial challenges, pursue their civil services goals and contribute to public service and nation-building.
