The Maharashtra Public Service Commission (MPSC) training screening test conducted by MahaJyoti and VANARTI was cancelled at examination centres in Pune and Nanded after candidates faced major technical and logistical problems during the test.
The examination was being conducted to select candidates for free coaching for the MPSC examinations. However, candidates at the affected centres reportedly faced computer-related glitches, inadequate computer systems and prolonged delays, creating confusion and disruption during the examination.
Candidates Face Technical Problems
Several candidates reported difficulties in accessing the computer-based test, while the shortage of functional systems contributed to delays. The problems reportedly resulted in candidates waiting for extended periods and created considerable uncertainty about whether the examination could proceed as scheduled.
The situation led to frustration among aspirants who had travelled to the examination centres to appear for the screening test. The test was ultimately cancelled at the Pune and Nanded centres following the reported technical and administrative issues.
Retest to Be Conducted
Authorities have decided to conduct a fresh examination for the affected candidates. However, the new date for the re-test has not yet been announced.
The MahaJyoti and VANARTI initiatives provide support to eligible candidates preparing for competitive examinations, including assistance through coaching programmes. The screening test was therefore an important opportunity for aspirants seeking access to free MPSC preparation.
The cancellation has raised concerns among candidates about examination management, availability of adequate infrastructure and the need for reliable computer systems at examination centres.
Candidates who were scheduled to appear at the affected centres are advised to wait for the official announcement regarding the revised examination schedule and follow updates from the concerned authorities.
