The Assam State School Education Board (ASSEB), Division-I, has announced the schedule for online form fill-up for the High School Leaving Certificate (HSLC) Examination 2027. According to the board, the online application process will begin on October 12, 2026, and continue until November 10, 2026.
Candidates appearing for the examination must complete the form-fill-up process within the prescribed deadline. The board has also specified the deadlines for fee payment through different modes.

- Last date for online payment and challan generation: November 12, 2026
- Last date for payment at SBI branches: November 16, 2026
- Deadline for uploading checklist corrections: November 19, 2026
- Internal assessment marks portal opens: December 14, 2026
Examination Fees
The board has fixed the examination fee at ₹700 per candidate. Candidates required to appear in practical examinations will have to pay an additional fee of ₹150, while a centre fee of ₹350 will also apply wherever necessary.
Eligible students who qualify for examination fee exemption under the prescribed income criteria will continue to receive the benefit, as per the board’s provisions.
Eligibility Criteria and School Responsibilities
ASSEB has directed schools to complete the form-fill-up process within the stipulated period and ensure that all necessary information is submitted accurately. Schools must also upload corrections to the candidate checklist by November 19, 2026.
The board has clarified that subject corrections will not be permitted after the deadline. Therefore, schools and candidates should carefully verify all details before final submission.
Candidates must also provide their bank account details while filling up the examination form.
In addition, students who have not appeared in their Class IX internal examinations, including unit tests and half-yearly examinations, will not be eligible to appear for the HSLC Examination 2027.
Internal Assessment Marks
The portal for entering candidates’ internal assessment marks will open on December 14, 2026. Schools will be required to submit the relevant marks through the designated portal in accordance with the board’s instructions.
Candidates and school authorities are advised to complete all formalities on time, verify the submitted information carefully and follow the official instructions issued by ASSEB to avoid last-minute complications.
