The National Medical Commission (NMC) has reopened the online application window for candidates seeking an Eligibility Certificate (EC) who could not complete their applications during the earlier window. The decision follows requests from candidates who faced technical difficulties while submitting their forms.
Candidates can now submit their applications through the designated NMC online portal from October 1 until October 7, 2026, at 6 PM. The NMC has advised applicants not to wait until the final day and to complete the process as early as possible.
The commission has also cautioned candidates to carefully fill in all required details. Incomplete applications will not be processed and may be rejected, while the issuance of the Eligibility Certificate involves multiple checks to verify eligibility under the applicable regulations.
The Ethics and Medical Registration Board (EMRB) of the NMC has issued the notice, and candidates have been advised to regularly check their registered email and the online portal for further updates. The latest notice is also listed on the NMC’s official website.
