The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has extended the deadline for choice filling and locking for Round 1 of NEET UG Counselling 2026.
Candidates participating in the All India Quota (AIQ) counselling can now submit and lock their preferred courses and colleges until 11:59 PM on August 18, 2026. The extension was announced through an official notice issued by MCC on August 17.
Candidates are advised to carefully review their selected choices and complete the locking process within the revised deadline. The Round 1 seat-allotment process will follow the updated counselling schedule.
The extension provides candidates additional time to finalise their preferences before the Round 1 seat allotment.
