IIT Guwahati Awards 2,265 Degrees at 28th Convocation
Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Guwahati conferred 2,265 degrees during its 28th Convocation Ceremony, celebrating the achievements of students across undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral programmes.
The graduating batch included 982 undergraduate students, 871 postgraduate students, and 412 PhD and Dual Degree (Master’s + PhD) scholars. The institute also honoured outstanding academic performers with 4 Gold Medals and 18 Silver Medals.
IIT Guwahati also highlighted its growing research ecosystem, stating that it is currently managing around 290 research and consultancy projects worth approximately ₹300 crore, while continuing to expand academic programmes and industry collaborations.
