Prof. Yogesh Singh Reappointed as Delhi University Vice-Chancellor
The Government of India has reappointed Prof. Yogesh Singh as the Vice-Chancellor of the University of Delhi for a second consecutive term, making him the first Vice-Chancellor in the university’s history to receive two successive terms.
Prof. Singh, who first assumed office in 2021, has led several academic and administrative reforms, including the implementation of the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020, the Four-Year Undergraduate Programme (FYUP), and the Common Seat Allocation System (CSAS).
His reappointment is expected to ensure continuity in Delhi University’s ongoing academic reforms, digital initiatives, research expansion, and efforts to strengthen the institution’s global standing.
