The Assam State School Education Board (ASSEB) has announced a special relief measure for students who lost their academic documents during the recent floods in Assam. Under this initiative, duplicate HSLC/AHM and HS Final Pass Certificates, Admit Cards, Marksheets, and Registration Cards will be issued free of cost to eligible flood-affected students.
The benefit will be available to students from the Charaideo, Sivasagar, Jorhat, and Golaghat districts, which were severely affected by the floods.
To simplify the application process, ASSEB has removed the requirement for a police report. Students can apply online by uploading a self-certification declaring themselves as flood-affected, making it easier and quicker to obtain replacement documents.
The board stated that this special initiative is aimed at reducing the difficulties faced by students whose important academic records were damaged or lost due to the natural disaster. The move is expected to help affected students continue their education without unnecessary delays or financial burden.
Eligible students are advised to complete the online application process through the official ASSEB portal and take advantage of this relief measure at the earliest.
