The National Testing Agency (NTA) has started the registration process for the Rashtriya Indian Military College Entrance Examination (RIMCEE) 2026. The entrance test is for admission to Class 8 for the July 2027 academic term at RIMC, Dehradun.
Eligible candidates can submit their applications online until September 30, 2026, up to 5 PM. The entrance examination is scheduled to be held on December 6, 2026, in pen-and-paper mode across 39 cities in India.
Candidates must be at least 12 years and 6 months old and not more than 14 years old as on July 1, 2027. The examination will include descriptive Mathematics and English papers, while General Knowledge will consist of multiple-choice questions (MCQs).
Candidates who miss the regular application deadline can apply during the late application window from October 1 to October 7, subject to payment of an additional late fee.
The examination fee is ₹1,000 for General, OBC-NCL and wards of Defence Personnel/Ex-servicemen, while SC/ST candidates have to pay ₹750. A ₹500 late fee will apply during the late application period.
Candidates are advised to apply only through the official NTA RIMC portal and carefully check the Information Bulletin before submitting their applications.
