IIT Kharagpur has released the information brochure for JAM 2027 and revised the registration schedule. Online applications will open on September 12, 2026, with the last date to apply being October 12, 2026.
The JAM 2027 exam will be conducted on February 14, 2027, in CBT mode across seven papers — Biotechnology, Chemistry, Economics, Geology, Mathematics, Mathematical Statistics and Physics. The exam will be held in two sessions.
Around 3,000 postgraduate seats across 23 IITs will be available through JAM for the 2027-28 academic session. Candidates should check the official brochure for eligibility, syllabus and exam details before applying.
