The Indian Air Force (IAF) has officially released the AFCAT 2 Admit Card 2026 on its official website, afcat.edcil.co.in. Candidates who have registered for the Air Force Common Admission Test (AFCAT) 2 can now download their hall tickets by logging in with their registered email ID, password, and captcha code. The admit card contains important information such as the candidate’s name, roll number, examination date, shift timing, reporting time, examination centre address, and detailed exam-day instructions.
The AFCAT 2 2026 examination is scheduled to be conducted on Saturday, August 8, 2026, in two shifts across various examination centres in the country. The morning session will take place from 9:45 AM to 11:45 AM, while the afternoon session will be held from 2:45 PM to 4:45 PM. Through this recruitment drive, the Indian Air Force aims to fill 379 vacancies in the Flying Branch and Ground Duty (Technical and Non-Technical) Branches, offering candidates an opportunity to serve as Class I Gazetted Officers in the Indian Air Force.
Candidates have been advised to carefully verify all the details printed on their admit cards after downloading them. The Indian Air Force has made it clear that carrying a printed copy of the admit card is mandatory for entry into the examination hall. Digital copies displayed on mobile phones or other electronic devices will not be accepted. Along with the admit card, candidates should also carry a valid government-issued photo identity proof and strictly follow all examination guidelines mentioned in the hall ticket.
The selection process for AFCAT 2 2026 consists of three stages—the written examination, followed by the Air Force Selection Board (AFSB) interview, and finally the medical examination. Candidates who successfully clear the written test will be shortlisted for the AFSB interview, where their leadership qualities, communication skills, aptitude, and personality will be assessed before the final medical evaluation.
Aspirants are advised to download their admit cards well before the examination date, visit their allotted examination centres in advance if possible, and ensure they reach the venue on time to avoid any last-minute inconvenience. The Indian Air Force has also urged candidates to rely only on the official AFCAT website for authentic updates and instructions regarding the examination.
