Gauhati University has rescheduled the Common Admission Test (ASSAMCAT 2026) for admission to the 3-Year LL.B. programme in view of the prevailing flood situation across Assam.
As per the revised schedule, the admission portal for new applicants opened on July 30, while the last date to submit applications is August 16. Fresh admit cards will be issued on August 20, and the ASSAMCAT 2026 examination will now be held on August 23. The results are scheduled to be declared on August 27.
The university has clarified that candidates who have already submitted their applications do not need to apply again. Aspirants are advised to check the official notification for detailed guidelines and further updates.
