5 Delhi Government School Girls Selected for Prestigious US Space Science Workshop
Five girls from Delhi government schools have been selected to participate in a Space Science Workshop at the US Space & Rocket Center, following a rigorous selection process involving over 400 students from schools across the national capital.
The selected students received their travel tickets from Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta. The programme is designed to identify and nurture talented students from government and government-aided schools who demonstrate a strong interest in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) and space science.
The initiative aims to provide young students with international exposure to space research and inspire more girls to pursue careers in science, technology, and space exploration, encouraging greater female participation in the field.
