New Learning Opportunities at DTU

DTU Launches New Data Science, Applied Statistics & Global Engineering Programmes

Delhi Technological University (DTU) has announced a range of new academic programmes as it celebrates 85 years of excellence, aiming to strengthen education in emerging technologies and interdisciplinary learning.

Starting from the 2026–27 academic session, DTU will introduce two new Integrated BSc–MSc programmes in Data Science and Applied Statistics. The university has also launched an Economics Double Major option for BTech students, enabling them to build multidisciplinary expertise.

In a major international collaboration, DTU has introduced a 4+1 Accelerated BTech–MS programme with the University of Houston (USA). The programme allows eligible students to complete their BTech at DTU and pursue an MS degree at the University of Houston with transferable academic credits, subject to admission requirements.

Looking ahead, DTU also plans to launch new BTech programmes in Mechanical and Automation Engineering (from 2026–27) and Computer Science & Engineering and Quantum Technology (from 2027–28), expanding opportunities in future-focused disciplines.
