🏫 Himachal Pradesh Begins Recruitment for 3,468 Teaching Posts in CBSE Government Schools

The Himachal Pradesh Government has started the recruitment process for 3,468 teaching posts in CBSE-affiliated government schools, aiming to strengthen the state’s education system.

According to Education Minister Rohit Thakur, the recruitment includes 2,668 regular teaching posts across 19 subjects and 800 temporary teachers for English and Mathematics. Recruitment for additional subjects, including Science, Commerce, Hindi, History, Computer Science, Music, Physical Education, and Fine Arts, will also be completed soon.

The minister also announced that 146 out of 158 approved government schools have already received CBSE affiliation. The state is further enhancing digital education by upgrading ICT facilities, replacing computers in 524 schools, and improving internet connectivity in 777 government schools through BSNL.

The initiative is part of the state’s vision to transform Himachal Pradesh into a leading education hub.
