DU PG Admissions 2026: Delhi University Begins Second Round Seat Allocation Under CSAS
Delhi University (DU) has commenced the second round of seat allocation for postgraduate admissions under the Common Seat Allocation System (CSAS) on June 22, 2026. Candidates who have been allotted seats in this round are required to complete fee payment within the specified deadline to confirm their admission.
As per the official schedule, the deadline for seat acceptance is June 24, 2026, while the last date for fee payment is June 27, 2026.
The university informed that a total of 2,964 fresh allocations have been made in this second round for various postgraduate programmes. In the first round, 3,399 candidates chose to freeze their allotted seats, while 2,448 opted for the upgrade option to seek higher preference seats in upcoming rounds. Additionally, 2,303 candidates neither selected the freeze nor upgrade option.
DU stated that the CSAS process is being conducted in a phased manner to ensure transparent and merit-based admission across all postgraduate courses.
