Kamrup Metro Schools Directed to Intensify Cleanliness and Beautification Drive
All government and private schools in Kamrup (Metro) have been instructed to undertake extensive cleanliness, sanitation, and beautification measures across their campuses ahead of the visit of a team of high dignitaries to Assam.
In an official notification issued on June 20, the Office of the Inspector of Schools, Kamrup (Metro), directed principals and headmasters to ensure thorough cleaning of school premises and surrounding areas.
The order emphasized maintaining proper sanitation and creating a clean, attractive, and welcoming environment within educational institutions. Schools have been asked to take immediate steps to improve campus aesthetics as part of the ongoing beautification efforts being carried out across Guwahati.
Authorities stated that all institutions must comply with the directives and ensure their campuses are well-maintained ahead of the anticipated visit.
