The Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) has released the PhD Entrance Test 2026 admit card for the July session. Only candidates who successfully registered and meet the eligibility requirements can download their hall tickets from the official PhD admission portal.
The IGNOU PhD Entrance Test is scheduled for October 11, 2026. The admit card contains important details including the candidate’s name and photograph, examination date, centre address and exam timings. Candidates must carry a physical copy of the hall ticket to the examination centre, as digital copies will not be accepted.
How to Download the Admit Card
Candidates can download their hall tickets by following these steps:
- Visit the official IGNOU PhD portal.
- Click on the Candidate Login option.
- Enter the required application number and password.
- Download the displayed admit card.
- Take a printout and preserve it for the examination day.
Candidates must also carry a valid photo ID, such as an Aadhaar card, passport or driving licence, along with the printed admit card. IGNOU has advised candidates to reach their examination centre at least one hour before the scheduled exam time.
Candidates are advised to carefully check the details printed on their admit cards and regularly follow the official IGNOU portal for further examination updates.
