The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has started the application process for direct recruitment to 13 posts across various Central government departments and organisations under Advertisement No. 12/2026. The detailed notification was issued on September 26, 2026.
The vacancies include posts such as Junior Technical Officer (Sugar Technology), Assistant Legislative Counsel, Law Officer and Specialist Grade II (Junior Scale) – Cardiology.

Interested and eligible candidates can submit their applications online through the UPSC application portal. The last date to apply is October 16, 2026. Candidates belonging to the female, SC, ST and PwBD categories are exempt from paying the application fee. Other eligible applicants are required to pay an application fee of ₹25 through the prescribed online payment methods.
The UPSC has also advised applicants to use their Aadhaar Card as the identification document to facilitate verification and authentication of their identity and other details.
