The registration process for the Rashtriya Indian Military College Entrance Examination (RIMCEE) 2026 is currently underway. Eligible candidates seeking admission to Class 8 for the July 2027 academic session can submit their applications online.
The regular application deadline is September 30, 2026. Candidates who miss the deadline will have an opportunity to apply with a late fee of ₹500 from October 1 to October 7, 2026. An application correction window will subsequently remain open from October 9 to 11, 2026.
The RIMCEE 2026 examination is scheduled for December 6, 2026, in pen-and-paper mode. The examination will be conducted across 39 cities in the country. The city intimation slip is expected 12–15 days before the examination, while admit cards will be issued around 5–7 days before the exam.
Documents Required
Candidates will need to keep the following documents ready while completing the application:
- Scanned photograph in JPG format
- Birth certificate
- Domicile certificate
- Category certificate, if applicable
- Left thumb impression
- School studying certificate
The application fee is ₹1,000 for General, Wards of Defence Personnel/Ex-Servicemen and OBC-NCL candidates, while SC and ST candidates are required to pay ₹750.
Candidates can complete the registration through the official RIMC examination portal of the National Testing Agency (NTA) and are advised to download and preserve the confirmation page after submitting the application.
