CBSE 2027 Board Exams

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has released the schedule for schools to submit the List of Candidates (LOC) for the Class 10 and Class 12 Board Examinations 2027 for the 2026–27 academic session.

CBSE has clarified that only students whose names are submitted through the online LOC process will be eligible to appear for the Class 10 and Class 12 Board examinations. Schools must complete the required registration process before submitting the LOC.

Schools will log in using their CBSE affiliation number as the user ID. Newly affiliated schools that have not yet received their login credentials have been advised to contact their respective CBSE Regional Office. The board has also stressed the importance of keeping login credentials secure.

CBSE has directed schools to ensure that student details and subject selections are accurate, with particular attention to subject codes. The board has listed separate codes for subjects such as Hindi, Mathematics, English, Sanskrit, Urdu and Applied Mathematics for Classes 10 and 12.

Under the Two Board Examination Policy, the first Class 10 Board Examination will be conducted in February–March and will be mandatory for all candidates. The LOC for this first examination has to be submitted for all Class 10 students, while the LOC for the second examination will be completed after the first examination concludes.

CBSE has also instructed school principals to monitor the LOC submission and fee-payment status regularly, beginning seven days before the final submission date, to ensure that the process is completed on time.

The announcement marks an important step in preparations for the CBSE Board Examinations 2027, with schools now required to complete the candidate-data submission process accurately and within the prescribed schedule.
